实验室利用结构生物学和生物化学等多种手段,围绕线粒体的蛋白质转运和植物光信号转导展开研究,阐明了线粒体外膜转位酶复合体(TOM、SAM)和线粒体内膜转位酶复合体(TIM22转位酶复合体)转运线粒体蛋白的分子机制(Science, 2021; Cell Research, 2021; Cell Discovery,2021,2024);系统揭示了植物感受紫外光、蓝光和远红光感光并进行光信号转导的分子机制(Cell Research,2023;Science Advances,2022;Nature Plants, 2020; Nature Structure Molecular Biology,2020,等)。实验室还密切关注RNA代谢通路相关蛋白复合体的结构与功能,揭示了RNA的甲基化修饰的分子基础(Nature,2016;Cell Research, 2022;Cell Discovery, 2023 a, b,等)。
